ATTN: Prerog for 2nd Sem AY 2020-2021

Please be reminded that the Department does not accept prerog requests from students, especially for GE Classes. Instead, they are advised to make use of the Waitlisting Module available in CRS.

Additionally, kindly check the list of classes available for 2nd Sem AY 2020-2021 regularly. The Department will try to open additional sections during the waitlisting and registration period.

Extended deadline: Popular Art and Culture in the Philippines in the Time of Corona

We are pleased to inform you that the deadline for the submission of papers for possible inclusion in Popular Art and Culture in the Philippines in the Time of Corona has been extended to 15 March 2021. Authors warrant that their manuscripts are original, unpublished, and not under consideration for another publication.

Remitly Scholarship Application

The Remitly Scholars provides direct monthly financial assistance of USD$80 per month over the course of 5 months to qualified students to enable them to pursue their educational and professional dreams.


ELIGIBILITY
The Remitly Scholars Program is open to any resident of Philippines who will be enrolled at a participating institution of higher education and who meets the following scholarship eligibility criteria:
– Full-time student enrolled at a participating institution
– Participating institutions are currently limited to: Mapua Institute of Technology and University of the Philippines (College of Education, College of Engineering, and College of Arts and Letters)
– GPA of at least B (or equivalent) in the previous school year
– No individual grades below C+ (or equivalent)
– Submission of completed scholarship application
– Agreement to the scholarship Terms and Conditions 
– Agreement to receive scholarship payment directly 
– Intent to complete higher education program on time
